Niro A/S has developed a new small scale spray dryer type – the
Integrated Filter Dryer - IFD MINOR™ - to improve plant
design, product quality, environmental aspects, space requirements, and energy
consumption. It is a fully equipped, modern spray dryer with integrated
CIP-able filters and an integrated fluid bed. It is ideal for research and
development and small scale production.
The dryer can be configured as a
multi-purpose pilot plant to be operated as:
- Integrated Filter Dryer – IFD™
- Fluidized Spray Dryer – FSD™
- Conventional spray dryer
- Spray cooler
The dryer has post drying facilities in IFD™ and FSD™ modes.
