Here at GEA Process Engineering NZ we offer a comprehensive range of lab
and pilot scale membrane plants. We have a filtration team able to assist in
the developmental and pilot scale phases of a process. The pilot plants are
fully mobile and able to be freighted to a placed on a client site,
alternatively product can be brought to our facilities for trialling.
The pilot plants can be configured for microfiltration,
ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis. Various types of membranes
can be fitted to the plant/(s) for trial purposes. The plant/(s) can be
utilised for batch type trialling or placed in-line as part of a process.
To complement our local pilot facilities, the GEA filtration operations
in Hudson, Wisconsin and in Skandeborg, Denmark also have dedicated teams of
technologists and pilot facilities.
With the use of our pilot
facilities, anything from the selection of a membrane to the final system
design can be modelled and trialled. Our engineers are then able to provide
scale-up and final commercial installation.
